The bar was bustling, though not as full as it would be later in the evening. The music was banging away, and the laughter was refreshing. Though it wasn't the regular brunette behind the bar, the owner had hired a team just for this night. The drink menu had been swapped for the event as well and it made her chuckle to hear such silly punny names called out. Casual attire was the choice for tonight, topped with a streak of green clipped into her hair, silly leprechaun hat earrings and an irish band t-shirt. Others were decked out much more heavily, and were already drinking much more heavily than she.
Reika kept herself planted though, in this booth she was holding for her friends, hopefully they would show soon.

a cloaked figure made it way through the crowds of variably drunk merry makers, while his stride was steady and purposeful, his left hand flexed and roamed restlessly as if searching for a missing weight. his pace quickened slightly and the Italia N' IceCream came into view. after all the traveling he had done in the past year all he wanted was a shower in a familiar place and a cold drink, preferably in that order. As he entered the bar his eyes momentarily narrowed in confusion at the lack of familiar faces working behind the bar, only clearing when he recalled that Reika would hire extra hands so she could join the celebrations. "She is probably out with that damn booze-hound brother of mine." a smirk crossed his face as he considered the monumental hangover Dante was earning at this moment and the how he could compound it if he decided to visit his twin in the morning.. continuing on toward the the back door to the apartments, he shrugged off the cloak and set it on the employee coat rack to alert his neighbor and friend to his return. (exits to the apartments)

She was starting to get bored, already a few drinks in, and had a turn or two at Karaoke. The booth was stolen as soon as she had left the seat, though it didn't matter much, since she was well used to being on her feet. She slammed her newly empty shot glass upside down on the table between herself and her challenger. The lightweight had started to sway already, and nearly fell. In that moment, when the poor slop had his head out of her way she saw him, as he slid off his cloak. Even without the telltale visuals she knew those shoulders. She wouldn't ever tell either of them, but one thing the twins shared was their indomitably broad shoulders. She'd seen both of them carry their worlds' weight on them without hesitations.
It was her turn to stagger, fumbling to fish her phone out of her pocket. Only to find a message from Yamiko stating that she was staying home. Crap, shit, crapshit. She couldn't think of much else as she pushed through the crowd to get to the quieter outdoors. She fumbled with her phone again, trying to call someone, hell anyone, rather than making it specific she just hit the green button until the dialing screen came up. The phone rang twice before his familiar voice answered, nearly annoyed, and noticeably as intoxicated as she was.

He'd gone and done it, dressed completely casual, jeans even, and a black leather jacket instead of his coat. Then he found a dive. He was half aiming to get sloshed enough to get into a fight, and half hoping he would be sloshed enough to get his ass kicked. He had downed several shots, chatted to the people on either side of him, was working on his second pint and had just found a poster behind this bear of a man's presumed date to stare at.
And that's when his phone went off. At this point, there were fewer than a handful that would call him, and yup, here she was on the phone, sounding piss drunk as well. But there was an undertone. Fear? between their combined drunkenness he really couldn't understand her, so he spat out a response he hoped sounded like his intention to say he'd be right there. 'There' being the only logical place she would be tonight, her own restaurant.
Admittedly Dante could agree that he's been a dumbass before, and he probably looked like a dumbass now, walk/jog-ing his motorcycle down the biker lane the entire five blocks between the two bars. Though it seemed like forever, it truly did not take him long. His bike safe in the back parking lot he weaved his way through the kitchen and out into the noisy crowd. Anyone shorter may have had trouble finding her, but he was easily the tallest person present. He slid into the booth she had been able to snag and taking big gulps of the iceless water she had sitting between them.
"okay," He leaned forward, "now, what did you say?"

Head in her hands she tried to quiet the buzzing against the music and the chatter. At this stage water only made you need to pee more, so she had given up. And right on cue, her friend took the seat across from her and finished her water. She couldn't be more frustrated, she retalitated, swinging her arm out catching his elbow and sweeping it off the table.
"I said..." She leaned across the table, palms flat against the surface until she was inches from his face, "Your brother is back and Yamiko is alone in his apartment." She sat back down, checking her phone for the time. it had been fifteen minutes since she saw the man, it would have taken him five to get upstairs and look around at the cleaning that had been done, if she was lucky he would take a shower before going into the bedroom and he hadn't found her or killed her yet.

No sooner had she finished her statement he was on his feet, dragging her behind him by the hand. Two things needed to happen, he needed to see his brother with his own eyes, and they needed to be sure that Yamiko was safe. Out the kitchen back door, down the street to the complex and up the steps he ran. Soon he was standing at the end of a hall he hadn't been down in a long time.
Dante had no idea what to expect, what jumble of questions he had. Where the shit he'd been would be a good place to start. He was barely aware of Reika by his side, whether or not she had been able to keep up, or how she would react to all of this. They would find out soon.

It had been one hell of a week. Between the usual demon hunts and the longer game of trying to figure out that park encounter, the feline was about ready to scream. Kitty sighed and ran her hand smartly through her hair as she approached the Italia 'n Ice Cream from the back alley, wanting to relax with a couple of drinks and maybe some dessert. If somebody tried pinching her for not wearing green one more time...
Instinct stopped her feet a moment before the back door swung open and would have smacked her in the face had she kept moving. A tall man with white hair, a handsome jaw, and icy blue eyes, had taken Reika by the hand, and the only resistance Reika seemed to have was that she was shorter and this smaller in stride. Whatever it was they were in such a hurry for looked serious, of their expressions were any indication, so Kitty decided not to pry.
Once the door closed, she went around to the front, entering the establishment and looking for a place to sit. Finding a place at the bar, she settled in, ordering a helping of Shepherd's Pie and a Mudslide to wash it down. She glanced around, looking for any semi-familiar faces while waiting for her food and drink.
