Name: Kitty Firalis; Kytenla Vrynalde
Age: Unknown; appears to be 25.
Race: Erusulaian (Demon by this world's standard)
Home-world: Erus
Profession: Hunter; “Peacekeeper”
Relations: The king and queen of Erus (this fact is currently unknown to her).
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5"
[li]Family crest (necklace): A silver necklace with a blue stone inside it, that looks as though it contains the depths of space.
[/li][li]Crymaerix: A pocket watch imbued with the soul of the demon that destroyed the Firalis village. The watch allows Kitty to open portals between realms that either herself or Crymaerix have been to.
[/li][/ul]
[li]Kitto and Ken: Two short-bladed weapons that can shift in shape, maintaining equivalent mass throughout shifts. Their shift takes a fraction of concentration, and is not instantaneous.
Proficiency: Very High
[/li][li]Xyrne and Maeryth: Twin rune-etched broadswords, these are the weapon embodiments of the leaders of the Firalis clan. They can also shift shape, but less willingly than Kitto and Ken, who were made to do that.
Proficiency: Very High
[/li][li]Meg and Verne: Twin Smith and Wesson Model 500 revolvers, fitted to take both standard ammunition and energy projectile charges.
Proficiency: Medium
[/li][li]Golem: The soul of the turtle demon Golem, in the form of a hanging attachment to her current necklace. Golem creates extremely durable armor from demonic ice, and can create either a pair of Ulaks for Kitty's use, or coat her weapons in the same demonic ice as her armor is comprised of. During spin attacks, shards of ice will fly from the weapons and can explode on impact if infused with enough energy.
[/li][/ul]
[li]Uncanny Speed, Strength, and Resilience:
As a ruling-class Erusulaian, Kitty possesses uncanny speed and strength. In her normal form, she can lift the equivalent weight of a small car, and throw it. She is also able to run at approximately 20 miles per hour. Her skin naturally resists cutting and piercing, although with a hard enough metal and sharp enough edge, it is possible.
[/li][li]Teleportation:
Kitty is able to teleport. The length of the teleport determines how long the transportation takes, as well as how hard she must concentrate on where she is going. Too long of a distance will leave her drained and weak; if she tries going too far, she may arrive dead.
[/li][li]Blood Shield:
From the energy of her blood, Kitty is able to erect a shield around herself. Blood must be shed in order for her to draw on her blood energy. The strength of the shield depends on her energy level; if she is about to pass out, it will not be very strong, and she will not be able to maintain it. In its current stages, it is still unstable, and in development; it may not offer any protection at all, and at this point could be more of a danger than a safeguard if brought into battle.
[/li][li]Second Form: Kitty grows in size, transforming into a bipedal tiger. All of her abilities are increased tenfold. In this form, she prefers fighting hand-to-hand, and has developed a brutal, visceral fighting style.

Physical Appearance:
From head to toe, Kitty is a fighting machine; 125 pounds of pure muscle on a small frame. Bright emerald orbs take in the world beneath dark, golden hair that frames her lightly-striped face, down to her shoulders. She tends to wear clothing that doesn't restrict her movement, either of earthen tones, blacks, or greys. If she is going out for a special occasion, she may dress in something a bit more flattering than it is utilitarian.
In her second form, Kitty stands nearly eight feet tall, and becomes 320 pounds of pure muscle on a medium frame. Pale, cream-white fur fully covers her body, and her stripes become almost black. Her eyes gain the feral ferocity of an angry, hungry tiger; orbs of pure emerald fire. Her soul weapons may or may not shift to restrict her power output at this level; it depends entirely on her level of control and energy output.
Personality:
Kitty tends to keep to herself, for the most part.
If she is in the role of ruler, she will be courteous, respectful, and just. She will not mention her own problems, and will do everything she can to resolve whatever issue has been brought to her attention.
With people she doesn't know very well, such as people who have brought her in as arbitrator or people who are generally new acquaintances, she is very formal on an inter-personal level, and remains quiet most of the time, unless she feels she has something valid to contribute to the conversation.
With friends, Kitty opens up more. She is kindhearted to the point of being flawed, and fiercely defensive of those she cares about. She does everything she can for everyone close to her, regardless of the personal sacrifice. She is not afraid to show her heart on her sleeve, unless doing so would bring discomfort or awkwardness into a conversation.
History:
Kitty comes from the Aikranan solar system. She was born on the Erusulaian home planet, however a violent portal stole her from her birth family when she was just hours old. Discovered by the Firalis clan, she was rescued, adopted by the clan’s leaders, and raised as one of their own.
On the day of her coming of age, she was sent out on errands while the village prepared for the ceremony. Little did they know, Crymaerix, the inter-dimensional “destroyer of worlds,” had targeted their village, slating it for annihilation in his quest for power. As the Firalis clan was a clan of demon hunters, the battle was gruesome; however, while all but a handful of the army was destroyed, the village fell.
The young huntress returned to her home in flames, her clansmen slain, and the monsters behind it still in the village. Using her pain and rage as a fuel, Kitty slew every last demon within the village. She arrived at the home of her adoptive parents, to see that they had been mortally wounded. Despite her best efforts, they too died, but not before telling her of her origin as a lost child, and requesting she take both of them with her when they passed away into their weapon forms. They also requested that she take the necklace in her adoptive mother’s jewelry box, as it was on her person when she was brought to the village as a baby.
Kitty wasted no time in honoring their wishes. As she emerged from their home, it was set ablaze by Crymaerix, who began taunting her. The ferocity with which the woman-child attacked the ages-old demon could have been considered reckless by some; it did, however, offer her first blood. Instead of attacking her directly, the man cursed her, and stepped through a portal that opened next to him. The feline had tried to follow, but the portal was gone as quickly as it had appeared. She spent the next few days burying her kin.
A few hard years of training later, an opportunity arose for Kitty to track the monster down, and it led her to this realm, where demons, humans, and hybrids lived in constant turmoil. She spent a few years here, hunting down local pests, and eventually, she did kill Crymaerix, who is just as irritating as a devil arm as he was in life. She has since attained mastery over him, and regularly uses his ability to travel between the realms whenever the need arises. She never stops training, and does everything she can to hone her skills.
Sample Post:
In a warehouse-turned-loft in downtown, a ripple in space and time began to form. A light breeze whisked the dust off of the living room’s furniture as a spherical, amethyst bubble finished forming just off of the floor. Clad in black and grey with a leather half-vest, Kitty stepped through, skin sun-kissed from her time in Aikrana. She stretched, picking up her cellphone from the charger on the coffee table, checking for messages. Seeing none, she set it back down, and moved up the stairs toward the bathroom. The ripple in space had vanished by the time she got to it, turning the knob to start the water warming for a hot shower. Glancing out at the sunset while waiting for the water to heat up, the felid smiled softly. It was time to get to work again.
