Sparda sighed, running his hand through his hair.
"Would you have honestly believed a crazy old geezer telling you that he was your father, when he looked and felt only like an elderly old human?" He stepped back, calmly putting his hands behind his back, feet an even distance apart. He paused a moment before continuing.
"What you saw at first wasn't just a disguise, my boy. My power may have been unlocked when those seals broke, but it did not wholly return to me. I've been in the same sort of withered state since I woke up, until I partook of that demon's strength earlier."
The elder demon remained still, gauging his son's face for a reaction.
"In all honesty, my business in Fortuna was to keep an eye on Nero. The unfortunate events that occurred while I was there, I was unable to do much of anything about. Thankfully, the world had the both of you to save it then, although the vessel they used for their campaign was rather embarrassing."
Sparda allowed his posture to relax, putting his hands into his pockets.

Syrissin's words did not calm her, and the mesmer did not have the desired effect. Instead, the mesmer distracted her from maintaining her guise, and like a ripple of water in a pond, her disguise faded. Her ears showed themselves, her eyes took on a more cat-like appearance with a new fire to them, and her stripes faded into existence on her face and arms.
The woman froze in place as she felt all the eyes in the room turn to her. She locked her gaze with Syrissin, full-on panic evident.

With a shake of his head he pushed away from the counter, ready to step back out into the diner,
"Really I don't know what I would have believed. I still don't." Nearly started by the sound in his pocket Dante pulled his phone free looking at the message. He had to read it over twice before it really sank in, taken aback. "Well shit." He turned to look at his father, then out the window at the patrons, noting the newer young woman wasn't human after all.
"You know what, nothing is going to surprise me now." He marched through the door, raising his voice sternly. "Sorry friends, nights over early. Get out." He stopped pointing to Kitty, her companion, his father, and a few other hunters he knew would be ready to hear what he had to say. "Except, you, you, you, and you two. You stay. Everyone else out!" He even went and held the door to be sure they understood he was entirely serious.
He sat down at the bar, reaching over for shot glasses and a few bottles of hard liquor. He set out a shot glass for everyone.
"We'll need these." he poured himself a whiskey, slamming it before pouring another.
"We have a problem," He looked up to scan the faces of those present as they poured their own drinks, "A friend just went missing. Issue is, she's not just a friend." He looked to his father taking a deep breath before continuing.
"She is a devil arm in human form. She is a remnant of Yamato, my brother's sword that should have been in the possession of the now Head of the Order of the Sword, Nero." He tossed the drink back again, prepping another. "She caused the surge earlier, I'm guessing that was inadvertently your fault." He raised his glass to his father.
"She only reacts to the blood of her proper owners it would seem. I can only guess that whoever or whatever took her saw her transform at some point. So there is no telling who it could have been. I have no idea how many have seen her." dropping his head he realized that he needed to call his brother, he was not ready for that. Just what he needed, 'Hey bro, look who I found, oh btw your devil girl is kidnapped.' leaning his elbow on the bar he rubbed his temples.
"We'll start searching right away, while the trail is fresh." He wasn't sure how or when he would tell his brother, but it had to happen before he came home to missing girl, broken window and no info. "I will lock up, so now everyone else out too."
Taking to his feet he tossed his shot glass in the sink, not worried about washing it, the opener or Reika could handle a few little dishes. He led his father out the back after ushering the others out and locking the other door.
"Well. This should be a fun night." He dropped the key in his pocket and started walking towards the apartments. They would have to start there.

Syrissin immediately released a part of his aura. Almost like a river it felt powerful but calm and calming.
"Easy hunters. We're not targets nor are we enemies," Syrissin'dual tone was calming and he could see the tension reduce.
"We're a pair of supernaturals that specialize in the hunting of devils. Much like Dante. Im also fairly certain had we any ill intent this would be the dumbest place to go." Syrissin was forcing himself to remain calm. Heightened emotions were like a delicacy for his kind. Though he doesn't eat the flesh of men his race did feed of off the particular energies that emotions gave, as well as the actual life force of humans. So far he hasn't killed anyone but this much emotion was seriously hindering his self control.
